Trinity's vision is to be a community gathering place and a missional launching pad, seeking to meet God at 416 East First Street and take God into the community and the world.
Music at Trinity
The Sanctuary Choir enriches Sunday morning services (10:30 a.m.) from August through June with a wide variety of music ranging from classical through modern, traditional, gospel, spirituals & contemporary.
Soloists or small groups provide worship in song during the month of July while the choir is on vacation.
The non-auditioned group is open to adults & teenagers.
Rehearsals: Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. in the Music Suite.
Trinity is blessed to have four octaves of handbells & three octaves of hand chimes.
The group is open to all ages. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. September – June.
The Bells actively seek to reach out to the community. Talk to us about playing for your event. On the second Sunday in December, the Sanctuary Choir, Handbells & Children’s Choir collaborate with a chamber orchestra of professional musicians to present the Christmas story. Children's Ministries
Children’s Church, a kid centered time of devotion and crafts, takes place on Sunday morning, during the worship service.
Our leaders are Jessi and Amanda, who trade back and forth in leading the devotions with our children. All children are invited to participate as we share faith and learning with our families.
Trinity Christian Martial Arts
Trinity Christian Martial Arts works to develop the mind, body, and spirit by creating relationships and an environment with God at the center. The cost of enrollment is a one-time registration fee of $50 per student and $10 monthly fees. This pays for the uniform, mouth guard and insurance. As students progress through ranks, they will test to receive higher belts. We charge $25 to belt test which covers the cost of new belt and color-coordinated Trinity Martial Arts tee-shirt which students will receive upon completion.
COME TRY US OUT! We accept students from ages 5 and up. Current classes are meeting on Mondays and Thursdays 5:30-7:00 pm.
God's Supper Table
God’s Supper Table is a Wednesday evening feeding program hosted by Trinity United Methodist Church in Kannapolis. Realizing that hunger exists in our own community, we began this ministry in March 2009 to provide a free meal, approximately 50 weeks a year, to anyone who walks in the door.
Since the beginning, those who have served meals at God’s Supper Table not only include groups from within Trinity, but from other churches, businesses, service organizations, schools, individual families, and more. On Wednesday nights, a meal is prepared and served for our guests who would like to share a meal and to fellowship with others.
